The weather here for the past 5 days has been appauling .Eight inches of rain,flooding and just to top it off some snow.Today though its stopped raining,the snow has melted and the cat has even ventured outdoors.She had taken to lying next to the heating vent ,since it was YES cold enough to put the heating on

Something to amuse English football fans England V Brazil It is just before England v Brazil at the World Cup. Ronaldino goesinto the Brazilian changing room to find all his teammates looking a bit glum."What's up?" he asks."Well, we're having trouble getting motivated for this game.We know it's important but it's only England. They're sh*te and we can't be bothered".Ronaldino looks at them and says "Well, I reckon I can beat these yobbo's by myself, you lads go down the pub."So Ronaldino goes out to play England by himself and the Rest of the Brazilian team go off for a few jars.After a few pints they wonder how the game is going, so they Get the landlord to put the teletext on. A big cheer goes up as the screen reads "Brazil 1 - England 0 (Ronaldino 10minutes)". He is beating England all by himself!Anyway, a few more pints later and the game is forgotten until someone remembers "It must be full time now, let's see how he got on". They put the teletext on."Result from the Stadium "Brazil 1 (Ronaldino 10 minutes) - England 1 (Crouch 89 minutes)".They can't believe it, he has single handedly got a draw against England!!They rush back to the Stadium to congratulate Ronaldino.They find him in the dressing room, still in his gear, sat with his head in his hands.He refuses to look at them. "I've let you down, I've let you down." "Don't be daft, you got a draw against England, all by yourself. And they only scored at the very, very end!""No, No, I have, I've let you down... I got sent off after 12 minutes"

Yesterday was such a sad day.My gran phoned me to tell me my cousin's 17 year old daughter Kay had died.She had an epileptic fit and her heart stopped and they couldn't revive her.She was severely disabled and she'd never walked or talked.But,she did smile and that made up for everything else.It took me forever to get through to my cousin on the phone it was always busy.Then when i did i didn't know what to say "sorry" just didnt seem enough.She said she'd spent all day lying on her bed with her face in her pillow because she could still smell her on it.When she said that i was choking back tears.
The funeral is on friday so i ordered flowers from interflora online to be sent to the funeral.I felt so helpless being here i wanted to give my cousin a hug and try and help but all i can do is sent flowers it just seems so little.
